CallBlocker is available on the App Store. These instructions describe the app's current setup workflow.

Which iPhones can use CallBlocker?
- Blocking and manual rules: any iPhone that runs iOS 26.0 or later. Apple lists the iPhone models compatible with iOS 26.
- Recording import and AI suggestions: iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max, or any supported iPhone 16 or later model, including iPhone 16e, with Apple Intelligence enabled and available and its on-device model downloaded and ready. The standard iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus and earlier iPhones cannot use them.
Apple Intelligence availability depends on device, language settings and region. The device and Siri languages must use a supported matching configuration. AI explanations in CallBlocker are in English. See Apple's current requirements.
CallBlocker is for iPhone only. It has no Android, iPad or Mac version. Without Apple Intelligence the app still opens and blocks calls: the AI tab explains why it is unavailable, and you add numbers and patterns in the Blocked tab.
Set up blocking and import a recording
- For AI suggestions, open Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri and check that Apple Intelligence is enabled. If its models are still downloading, keep the phone on Wi-Fi and power while they finish. Skip this step if you only want to add rules yourself.
- After installing CallBlocker, open it and follow onboarding. In Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Blocking & Identification, enable CallBlocker. Return to the app so it can check the status.
- Open your recent calls in the Phone app. Start a screen recording from Control Center, then scroll slowly through the visible numbers you want to review. Stop recording when finished. Apple explains how to record your iPhone screen.
- In CallBlocker's AI tab, tap the video import button and select the recording. Keep phone numbers readable; a contact name alone does not provide a number for the importer.
- Review any suggested pattern and its explanation. Use the Block action only for a range you intend to block. Dismiss suggestions you do not want. You can also add individual numbers or patterns in the Blocked tab.
For the iOS extension settings, see Apple's call blocking guide. CallBlocker does not automatically read the Phone app's history.
When something does not work
The AI tab says Apple Intelligence is unavailable.
Check the iPhone model, software version, Apple Intelligence setting and supported language configuration. Give a pending model download time to finish, then return to the AI tab. An iOS update alone cannot add Apple Intelligence to unsupported hardware. Blocking and the Blocked tab keep working either way.
The recording produces no suggestions.
Check whether the import found any phone numbers. Use a readable recording that shows numbers, rather than contact names alone. The AI may need more imported history before it can suggest a pattern. An empty result does not establish that your callers are safe. You can still add a number you want blocked manually.
CallBlocker's switch is missing from Phone settings.
That switch is registered by iOS after the app is installed, not written by the app. Open CallBlocker once, restart the iPhone, then check Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Blocking & Identification again. We explain the registration and load failures in detail.
A call still rings.
Check that CallBlocker remains enabled in Phone settings and that the intended rule is active in the Blocked tab. Ensure the number is not a contact and had no recent outgoing call; if so, delete them respectively. Confirm the full incoming number, including country code, fits the rule. New numbers outside the range and hidden caller IDs are outside a number-based rule's coverage.
A call I wanted was affected.
Disable or remove the relevant rule in the Blocked tab, then wait for the block list to update. Broad wildcard ranges can include legitimate numbers. Check Apple's own screening and blocked-contact settings too if the issue continues.
A blocked caller left voicemail.
CallBlocker does not control voicemail routing. Apple says blocked contacts can still leave voicemail. Ask your carrier about its voicemail and network blocking options.
